RULES AND REGULATION 1. All Shorts films shot on film (Analog / Digital format) between 1st september2014 to 30th september2017. Maximum time 20 mins 2. Entries must be PAL/HD format only. NTSC is Not accepted. Festival Management will not be responsible if film is not screened due to problem with the DVD. 3. Submit the film in.avi/mov/vob/mpeg/mp4 format only. No other format will be accepted. 4. Entries of all Short films (here after collectively called films) shall be accepted only in DVD format.(each Preview DVD should be labelled with the title, running-time and contact email and phone number. ) 5. There shall be 2 categories in the festival: 1 - Open and 2 - social awareness 6. If language of the film is other than Marathi, Hindi or English, it must be dubbed or sub-titled in English. 7. Films may be entered by any organization, agency, individual producer or director. 8. Selection of films Aarambh International Short Film Festival 2017 will be done by a committee whose decision will be final. However, Festival Authorities reserve the right to accept or reject any film that is likely to offend sentiments, feelings or sensibilities of any caste, community, religion and sector is likely to promote racism or ill will in the society. 9. Transportation and insurance cost of DVDs, related documents, photographs and publicity materials from the country of origin to the Festival Office shall be born by the applicant. 10. Aarambh International Short Film Festival 2017 would allowed to use all photographs and publicity materials received along with the Entry and the same will not be returned to the entrants. 11. DVDs submitted for selection will be considered as final and no changes will be entertained after submission. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to submit DVDs without any physical / quality defects. 12. Anybody can submit one or more than one entry. There is no limits for submission. Multiple entries can be submitted, but with separate entry forms, preview DVD, synopsis/description, still photographs, pass kit should be enclosed. Each film is considered as a new entry. 13. Films once selected and submitted for the final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances, until the Festival is over. 14. Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these Regulation. 15. Decisions of the Festival Authorities regaing all matters not expressly provided for in these regulations or which require interpretation of the clauses mentioned above shall be final and binding on all parties.
Important Points For Submission 1. Submission Last Date- 15th November 2017, Regular Entry Fee `1,000/2. The Aarambh International Short Film Festival is not responsible for lost, damaged, misdirected, postage due, stolen, or misappropriated entries. 3. No separate for student filmmakers. 5. The Festival is scheduled on 09th December 2017 6. The 3 Aarambh International Short Film Festival 2017 will send the applicant online receipt/acknowledgement for the official. Following points may please be noted /checked before submission/sending the entry: 1. Complete entry form with signature 2. 2 copies of DVD of the film 3. Entry fee of `1,000/4. Ha copy or soft copy of still photographs of production (minimum two, 4X6 size) 5. Films Poster Soft or Ha Copy (A4 size) if have. Note: Festival office will confirm delivery of parcels which are included in your confirmation email & Contact Number.
