2. Production Guideline 2.1 General Guideline 2.1.1 The client / agency should provide all media files. 2.1.2 Audio channel is required to embedded in the video. 2.2 Creative Guideline 2.2.1 Digital Panel Hot Spot consists of 4 pairs of 65-inch TV panels installed vertically for advertising display. 2.2.2 Digital Panel is designed for motion graphic / animation to be presented on 2 digital panels. Image / Animation flow between 2 panels is compulsory in creative development. 2.2.3 Minimum number of materials: 2 versions with 10-sec creative. 2.2.4 All static images, neither partial nor full visuals that compose the overall advertisement, are not accepted. Static image is defined as any visual displayed at the same location on a single panel without any movement for 2 seconds or above. 2.2.5 Creative development shall be based on image motion on 2 panels, not image sharing on 2 panels. 2.2.6 Key images such as a talent, a product, a brand appearing in split images on separate panels is not acceptable. 2.2.7 One background image appearing on both panels is acceptable. 2.2.8 TVC application is acceptable only when clause 2.2.5 and clause 2.2.6 are observed. 2.2.9 Video should not be created in wide screen mode (i.e. no top and bottom black boarder). 2.2.10 Flashing, sparking, strong light or rapidly image movement effect in the creative, visuals or image flow should be avoided 2.2.11 Video & Audio special effects simulate technical failure or mechanical operations (e.g. Snowy / Noisy visual effect, signal lost, vague audio, emergency or screaming sound effect) which may mislead / irritate audience should be avoided. 2.2.12 It is recommended to add subtitle for Voice-Over (VO) on Digital Panel Hot Spot. 7
2. Production Guideline 2.3 Audio Guideline 2.3.1 Audio output level should be set within -12dB(min.) to -6dB(max.). 2.4 File Output Guideline 2.4.1 Each media file should be kept the maximum time not longer than 10 seconds. For example, advertisement total length is 25 seconds. Please divide it into 3 parts. 2.4.2 Flash file conversion will not be accepted, as elements might be lost during the conversion process. 2.4.3 Any other formats (format other than WMV9) will not be accepted. 2.4.4 Recommend to submit native HD file. Conversion of low-res sources to HD format should be avoided. Cropping and enlarging video file should also be avoided. 2.4.5 Digital panels consist of 2 separate display units. Materials for left and right panel should be submitted respectively. 2.4.6 A preview file of both left and right panel (included the separator between 2 panels) is required for crosschecking the actual output files and the original creative. 8
