Do not use it in a wet, or extremely cold/hot locations. Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to this product or other property. WARNING : This unit contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not open the housing or attempt any maintenance by yourself. In the unlikely even your unit may require service, please contact your nearest dealer. Any maintenance procedure must be performed by a CONTEST authorised technical service. Basic cleaning operations must thoroughly follow our safety instructions. This product contains non-isolated electrical components. You now have in your possession a high-quality, powerful and intelligent device absolutely perfect for parties, animations, live events... This user guide will allow you to understand and use all the functions of the MINICUBE-6TCb. Please keep it within reach during the first uses in order to get familiar with the unit. 3 - Description 3.1 - Description of the unit The MINICUBE is a compact projector to be integrated anywhere while offering maximum performances. It features 6x3W tricolour LEDs delivering a powerful and uniform output. Its many internal programs allow you to use it without remoite control. Please make sure the unit is compatible with the voltage delivered by the outlet. 2 DMX input 3-pin male XLR plug hardwired as follows : - Mass: 1 - Negative signal: 2 - Positive signal: 3 This plug can be used to carry an incoming DMX signal from another projector or DMX controller to the MINICUBE. 3 DMX output This plug can be used to daisy chain projectors. Same configuration as the DMX input. 4 UP button Allows you to increase the values in the menus. 5 Touche DOWN Allows you to decrease the values in the menus. 7 Display Allows you to visualise the status of the device and internal menu. Note about the display when the unit is in DMX mode: - The letter d will flash, alternating with the DMX address. - If a DMX signal is detected via the DMX input, the decimal point will be lit. 7 MODE button Allows you to enter and browse the internal menu. Display shutdown The display automatically turns off after a 25-second period of inactivity. The first pressure on one of the 3 buttons reactivates the display without modifying any settings. DMX signal interruption In such cases, the unit will stay on hold until an incoming DMX signal is detected. 4 - Functions 4.1 - Using the menu Macro menu: Preset colours and macros selection. Please refer to next chapter fore more details about this menu. Menu Channel : Allows you to select the different DMX modes and slave mode. Please refer to chapter 4.2.5 for more information about this menu.
