Welcome to the Phonak world of FM communication! Thank you for choosing the TelCom FM transmitter. The TelCom is a high-quality Swiss made product from Phonak, a world leader in hearing technology, innovation and reliability. It enhances communication on the telephone and optimizes hearing when watching television, or listening to other audio equipment (e.g. radio, CD player, personal computer,...). The wireless TelCom FM transmitter (FM = Frequency Modulation) sends the sound (e.g. television or telephone) to the FM receivers on the hearing instruments of the person listening. We recommend that you read this manual carefully to fully benefit from the many TelCom features. With proper care and usage, your TelCom will support your listening and communication needs for many years. Phonak the leader in FM communication.

What is TelCom TelCom is a stationary FM transmitter. It boosts the sound from television or any other audio equipment (e.g., Personal Computer, CD-player, radio) without disturbing others. It allows you to hear the telephone ringing at any time. The television sound is switched off automatically when the telephone is answered. The person calling can be heard loud and clear. When the telephone receiver is replaced, the television sound will return automatically. To use this system hearing instruments fitted with FM receivers are required. 3
