The picture on the is not clear and has a lot of dots and hazy. How can I improve the picture quality? What is the difference between Full H and H Ready? Possible causes are: i. ntenna installation. ii. ntenna location. iii. Signal distribution. Please consult a qualified antenna-installer before approaching Sony Service Centre. Why is the picture quality of LC crystal clear when played back by some equipments? The basic difference is the picture clarity in the LC. The picture clarity (resolution) is measured in number of Pixels. Full H offers 2 Mega Pixels (1920 x 1080) resolution. The higher the pixels, the better the resolution and capability of displaying finer details. H Ready offers 1 Mega Pixel (1366 x 768) resolution. OES YOUR LC HVE THIS LBEL? You can enjoy Full H games (e.g. PLYSTTION 3). You can view Full H pictures from H camcorders (e.g. H Handycam ). You can playback Full H movies from H players (e.g. Blu-ray player). You can receive Full H digital reception from a digital tuner/set top box. Possible reasons are: i. Playback pictures are recorded in High efinition (H) format. ii. These pictures are played back by H players such as Blu-ray isc player, H camera or H Game console. H pictures are 3 times clearer than S pictures. Refer to the pictures showing picture quality differences between S & H. Play back from VCR, V players are mainly Standard efinition (S) format. Standard efinition (S) - 4:3 Ratio High efinition (H) - 16:9 Ratio What is the recommended interface to connect H evices to Full H? High efinition Multimedia Interface (HMI ) is the standard interface to connect other H devices to BRVI. HMI offers: High bandwidth for all signal transmission between H devices. What are the common connectivity available to LC? Which is the best connectivity? Why is my LC getting too warm? Refer to below table for commonly available connectivity to LC and other equipment. LC generates a small amount of heat which is dissipated via the ventilation holes. How do I prevent the remote control from operating intermittently? How do I register an RF remote to LC? Please follow the steps below: i. im remote control towards remote commander sensor location on the LC. ii. Remove the items blocking the sensor. iii. Replace batteries if needed. ii. How do I safely transport LC? How do I connect the LC to receive digital channel? Please take note of the precautions below: i. isconnect all the cables. ii. Minimum 2 persons to carry the LC. iii. O NOT stress/press on the LC panel. iv. Hold firmly on the bottom (as shown). v. No jolts or vibration. What is the correct level of brightness on LC? What is the correct level of brightness on LC? When judging the brightness, certain factors are to be considered. RECOMMENE BRIGHTNESS: Consider the brightness of the surrounding environment. This always affects the perceived brightness of the picture on the LC. The image will appear brighter or dimmer in different rooms because of different light settings. bout BRVI s mbient Light Sensor: The BRVI LC is equipped with an mbient Light Sensor. This is a backlight control system which will automatically adjust its brightness according to lighting conditions. This helps to provide the optimum picture quality in any environment. This helps avoid eye-strain while watching LC as the picture brightness will adjust to the lighting of the room accordingly.
