The editorial archive from 1952 to 1985 of the Gaelic literary and topical magazine Gairm and of its associated Gaelic book publications, together forming Gairm Publications Ltd. The collection was assembled and maintained by Ruaraidh MacThòmais, Professor Derick S. Thomson, co-founder of the magazine (with the late Finlay J. MacDonald) and editor since its foundation. Included also are some publishing papers of Professor Thomson s imprint, Clo Chaillean, Aberfeldy, and of a publication produced under the auspices of the Department of Celtic, Aberdeen University.
