VISITING ARTISTS SERIES 2017-2018 CEDARBURG PERFORMING ARTS C E N T E R Experience a World of Perf ormance right he re in Cedarburg.

THE STARS ALIGN AT THE CPAC 2017-2018 SPONSORs & UNDERWRITERS Join us as the biggest and brightest stars align for our 2017-2018 Visiting Artists Series. Our upcoming season includes one of today s most renowned country performers, a beloved Irish folk group, a recent TV singing competition phenom, Wisconsin s favorite storyteller, a Grammy-winning pianist, a tribute to the original folk-singing country boy and more. SPONSORS But, that s just the beginning. In keeping with our mission, the Visiting Artists who entertain our audiences also agree to work with local students to instill a love of the arts and share performing tips and techniques. Recently, members of Rockapella gave a master class for high school music students, with support from the CHS Fine Arts Boosters. And, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, with underwriting from the Rita Edquist Memorial Fund, will once again give young people a chance to experience light classical music during the holidays. The stars do align in Cedarburg. Consider a full series ticket package (saving you nearly 15%!) so you won t miss any of these shining performances next season. See you at the Cedarburg PAC! UNDERWRITERS

ABOUT THE VISITING ARTISTS SERIES History Cedarburg PAC, Inc. was founded in 1999 to help the Cedarburg School District deliver on its promise of bringing professionally managed performing artists to Ozaukee County. The Cedarburg PAC, Inc. enabled the District to fulfill its commitment to the community without assuming the financial risk of funding a Visiting Artists Series. Collaboration with the Cedarburg School District remains a vital element of the Cedarburg PAC, Inc. s mission today. Key to this relationship is the recognized value of involving and exposing students to the performing arts/artists, as well as the operating business of a performing arts center, in ways that are not otherwise possible. Cedarburg PAC, Inc. Mission Each season, the Cedarburg PAC, Inc. sets out to Enlighten, Educate and Entertain. This translates to every event we schedule and every life we touch. We work to accomplish this mission by offering ongoing opportunities to the students and residents of the greater Cedarburg area and beyond to experience and appreciate the performing arts. Bringing Our Mission to Life Each year, the Cedarburg PAC, Inc. brings world-class performers to our community through presentation of the Visiting Artists Series. The Visiting Artists Series showcases a broad range of nationally renowned performers and rising stars in a state-of-the-art, intimate theatre. Our 580-seat theatre allows audience members to get closer to their favorite vocalists, comedians, actors and musicians than many other venues. In fact, the last row in our theatre is only 78 feet from the stage! With each performance an effort is made to expose students to guest artists through master classes, workshops, question & answer sessions and on-stage collaborations. In addition, we work to provide student internship experiences in conjunction with the Cedarburg PAC, Inc. s marketing, hospitality and business functions. Sponsor & Underwriter Support We rely heavily on the generosity, commitment and support of our dedicated Sponsors and Underwriters. They have helped to nurture the arts in our community. And many have benefited including our Visiting Artists Series audiences and our young people who have learned from and been inspired by our artists., October 20, 2 Friday 0 17 7 :30 pm www.wynonna.com Tickets: 70 WYNONNA JUDD & THE BIG NOISE Once dubbed by Rolling Stone as the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline, Wynonna Judd s rich and commanding voice has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. The record, which boasts a wildly eclectic assortment of songs, hit #1 on Billboard s Heatseekers Chart and Top 5 on the Classical Chart. Friday, March 23, 2018 7:30 pm Thursday, April 19, 2018 7:30 pm www.thehighkings.com Tickets: 45 THE HIGH KINGS Almost ten years ago, four Irish singers, performers and songwriters decided to take a calculated risk. Each of them had a wealth of history in the music business behind them, but knew that to maintain creative interest they would have to boldly go where no other Irish ballad group had gone before. To say that The High Kings are charting a new course for Irish ballad music equal parts rousing and reflective, energetic and insightful is an understatement. They are, essentially, creating a new and bright era for Irish folk music, and aiming to bring a broad demographic along for the journey. www.dallasbrass.com Tickets: 35 DALLAS BRASS Founded in Dallas, Texas, Dallas Brass has become one of America s foremost musical ensembles. They have established a unique blend of traditional brass instruments with a full complement of drums and percussion. Their repertoire includes classical masterpieces, Dixieland, swing, Broadway, Hollywood and patriotic music. In addition to their solo engagements, Dallas Brass appears with symphony orchestras nationwide. They have shared the stage with the late Bob Hope, have performed for Presidents Gerald Ford and George H. W. Bush, have appeared on the CBS Early Show and their music has been used on the TV show, The Young & The Restless.
