DISTRIBUTION AMPLIFIERS Performance & flexibility. Allows you to listen to what you want, wherever you want. RKB-8100 RKB-D8100 The RKB distribution amplifiers come in one eight-channel configuration at 8 x 50 watts and two at 8 x 100 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms, all channels driven. All RKBs can double that output into 4 ohms as a result of their sophisticated, efficient Class D design. The amplifiers are rugged and extremely reliable, but Rotel has taken additional further precautions to maximize service life by utilizing dual thermostatically controlled fans to exhaust heat away from the output modules and power supply. The Digital version (Designated by a D in the nomenclature) feature four TOSlink digital inputs with individual stereo DACS for each pair of channels in addition to the four analog inputs. When a digital audio source is detected on the TOSlink input the unit will automatically switch to the digital input. If an analog input is connected, that source similarly will be detected. No user configuration is required. Each digital input supports up to 24 Bit/192 khz LPCM audio. RMB-1512 RMB-1506 No longer do you need to purchase several large amplifiers to obtain a high performance multizone audio system. The RMB-1512 features an advanced Class D design that provides plenty of power (12 x 100 Watts into 8 ohms) for the most demanding multizone audio systems, but never runs the danger of overheating itself or other electronic components placed in the same vicinity. The RMB-1512 features everything needed for remote operation and custom installation including 12 volt trigger, signal sensing, input bussing, sum-to-mono, buffered link output, front panel attenuation controls, five-way binding posts and screw terminals. The RMB-1506 is perfect for less elaborate multizone audio systems and can be mated with our surround receiver or our preamp/ processors to add music throughout three additional living areas or zones of your home. A buffered link output allows you to link additional amplifiers for larger multizone applications.
