AIKEN PROMOTIONS PRESENT IRON & WINE Sam Beam is a singer-songwriter who has been creating music as Iron & Wine for over a decade. Through the course of five albums, numerous EPs and singles, and the initial volumes of an Archive Series - Iron & Wine has captured the emotion and imagination of listeners with distinctly cinematic songs. Iron & Wine is currently celebrating the first two installments of the Archive Series on Sam s own label, Black Cricket Recording Co. Both releases tap into work created before Sam was Iron & Wine, when he was making music only to be heard by his family. Songs from these same home recording sessions were used for Iron & Wine s debut, The Creek Drank The Cradle. Just announced! BAILIEBOROUGH SCHOOL OF MUSIC 30 TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT Performers from Co Cavan will include our Senior and Junior Bands, The Groove Big Band made up of past students, and various ensembles from present and past students. Special guests will be a choir from Scoil Mhuire, Scoil Bhride and Scoil Eoin Phoil, Leixlip. We will perform a wide variety of film, tv and pop music to celebrate this great achievement and give a wonderful platform for these talented musicians to perform. DDCSM PRESENTS EMMANUEL 2018 AT THE HELIX Over 2500 students (approx. 600 each day) from 70 Second Level Schools will participate in Emmanuel 2018 this year at The Helix. The much coveted soloist spots have been allocated and the schools are in full swing after the Christmas break.
