Comoser Notes The genesis of this comosition is a little different than that of most hymns. In 2006, I rote this melody as a kind of hymn to conclude the final movement of my second iano quintet. The tune rovides an emotional resolution to the tension and drama of the receding movement: thus the hymn tune RESOLUTION. The tune has alays felt to me as if it ere a hymn ithout ords. roviding one, I as suggesting an arrangement eteen comoser and author hich reverses the usual rocedure.
