Golden Empire Transit District Addendum #3 to Request for Proposals # G061 On-Board Video Surveillance System Golden Empire Transit District is issuing this Addendum to respond to questions raised by parties interested in the Request for Proposals named above (the RFP ). This Addendum constitutes an integral part of the RFP and shall be read in conjunction with the RFP. Where inconsistent with the original RFP, or any pervious Addendum to the RFP, this Addendum shall govern. Unless specifically changed herein, all other requirements and provisions of the RFP remain unchanged and can only be modified if in writing by GET. It is the responsibility of all Proposers to conform to this Addendum. This Addendum includes questions that were asked on or before October 13, 2014. Question 1: Page 6 states All Data. Do you mean all recorded video and audio data, but not the DVR data? GETD Response: All Audio, Video and Meta data. Question 2: Are there any drawings for the size of the property where the system is to be installed? GETD Response: We have supplied a drawing of the yard with some estimates of size. Question 3: Will there be an onsite pre-inspection or meeting in order to support the requirement for the wireless communication system? Question 4: Is there a network diagram and a facility layout where the wireless network is to be deployed? GETD Response: We have attached a drawing of the property layout.
Question 5: Are there any pre-existing wireless network or server vendor requirements or preferences (Cisco, HP, etc)? GETD Response: Yes, there are other wireless networks. We currently use Cisco wireless and HP for servers. Question 6: Can you please clarify if the 30 fps is the per camera rate and not system wide? GETD Response: The 30 FPS is for each camera. Question 7: Do you have a list or diagram of preferred camera views/layout for the vehicles? GETD Response: We have attached some camera shots for both vehicles. The paratransit vehicle will have one added camera at the rear of the vehicle. Question 8: Please confirm if the monitored inputs are required to be installed during deployment or support the capability for future implementation? GETD Response: Yes, they are to be installed during deployment. Question 9: Can GETD please provide the vehicle Acceptance Testing plan and procedures? GETD Response: No, because we don t know the options or the system capabilities at this time. Once a Contractor is selected we will develop an acceptance testing plan. Question 10: Is there existing sensor for the seat belt activation requirement? Please identify the type of sensor if one exists? GETD Response: Due to the different bus configurations, GETD will delete this requirement. Question 11: Are the any cameras mounted on the outside of the vehicles? GETD Response: Yes, one on the roadside and the other on the curbside. Question 12: Please confirm the number of triggered events per a day? Are there 15 events per day for each bus or total for all buses combined? GETD Response: All buses combined.
Question 13: What is the average recording time of a triggered event? GETD Response: Varies. Question 14: What is the average percentage of motion in a triggered event? GETD Response: Unknown. Question 15: What is the average size of a triggered event to use when calculating storage requirements? GETD Response: Unknown. Question 16: Please confirm the compression ratio used for D1 cameras? GETD Response: H.264 is desirable. Question 17: Will there be rooftop penetrations for the antenna cables to be installed? How will we get the cables to the roof? GETD Response: There are pre-existing cables routed in the roof for the current GPS antenna.
