The kitchen is the hub of our community, supporting our celebrations and festivals, Bar/Bat Mitzvah parties and weddings, our educational and outreach activities, the Asylum Seekers Drop in, Singing for the Mind and interfaith events, our senior specific projects for the local community - Restaurant Tuesday, the Out and About Club and Keep-in-Touch parties, as well as cultural events, concerts and more. In 2015 Philip won the Jewish Comedian of the Year and also the Lastminute Comedy/Kill for a Seat Comedian of the Year. He has been heard on BBC Radio 2 and 4Xtra as part of the BBC New Comedian Search. As well as featured roles in TV programmes including My Family (BBC) and Any Human Heart (Channel 4) Philip has worked as a rehearsal guest on BBC TV's Mock the Week and Taskmaster for Dave. In 2008 she won the Dave, Funniest Joke of The Fringe Award Probably the most impressive British female comic on the circuit.
