COURS INTERNATIONAL D ORGUE DE ROMAINMÔTIER OFFICE: CIOR, c/o Office du Tourise - Rue du Bourg 9 - Case postale 6 CH-1323 Roainôtier-Envy The International Organ Course in Roainôtier exists since 1969. It takes place in agnificent historical surroundings, enriched by several rearkable instruents. Roainôtier, a Clunisian site with one of Europe s ost beautiful Roanesque churches, is located at about 20 iles fro Lausanne, in a region with an ideal blend of ountains, plains, lakes and forests. We want our Course to be also an opportunity for eeting and exchanging ideas; in addition to the teaching we organize coon eals and concerts. We play on the following organs: The Alain faily organ (4 anuals, 45 stops), built fro 1910 to 1971 by Jehan and Marie-Claire Alain s father, Albert Alain, restored and installed in one of the buildings of the forer Abbey of Roainôtier. The house organ of the faous Italian organist and usicologist Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini (1929 2017), built by Orgelbau Kuhn in the style of Swiss organ builder Aloys Mooser (3 anuals, 12 stops), located since 2017 in the Saint-Michel chapel. Organ by the faous organ builder Georges Lhôte (4 anuals, 36 stops) in the Abbey Church. Many saller study organs in the surrounding villages : easiest to reach by car or bicycle. Public transportation is also possible for certain destinations (but less convenient). The lessons are given in various languages, as needed. English, Geran and French are standard.
