3. Product Overview 3.1 Introduction This Universal Video Converter (Model : UVC) is powerful Multi-Format Video input/output Converter which is able to convert Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog mutually. This unit has isolated analog D-SUB and isolated digital HDMI port as input formats and Composite / S-Video / D-SUB / HDMI as output formats. The unit will make a easily select of input format using by user selectable switch then the selected input video signal is converted 3(three) output formats as analog Composite / S-Video / D-SUB and1(one) digital HDMI output. The unit has a unique function as cropping which is available in the S-Video /composite output formats. The unit is designed with a stringent safety requirements such as the medical environment and other similarly restriction location. 3.2 Function Description Convert Analog to Digital video signal Convert Digital to Analog video signal 2 Input format : D-Sub, HDMI 5 Output format : D-Sub, DVI, S-Video, Composite (RCA1 and BNC) 5 Simultaneous Output. Available select input port (D-SUB or HDMI) Input Video Signal Isolation processing HDMI : Module Type (Transformer method) D-SUB : Module type (Transformer method) Output of DVI / D-SUB outputs to the same size screen when HDMI / D-SUB Inputs (NO Crop) Output of S-video / Composite outputs to down scaling when HDMI / D-SUB Inputs Available for 6types of cropping in S-VIDEO /Composite output using by Dip SW. NTSC/PAL Output is selectable by Dip SW (S-video / Composite) Available for RCA1 and BNC port output simultaneously as composite output. DVI 1.0 Compliant All output signal shall be complied with its each video signal standard Cropping position data shall be adjusted customer request. 3.3 Function Block Universal Video Converter function block diagram presented below. 8
