Glossary of Terms Ensco when referring to the company ENSCO when referring to a rig name (e.g. ENSCO DS-10) PayZone when referring to the Ensco Intranet jackup use capitalization and lower case as appropriate semisubmersible use capitalization and lower case as appropriate drillship - use capitalization and lower case as appropriate Logo Use The Ensco logo should be anchored in the top left corner of the module (do not use logo with tagline). The logo should not be smaller than 2 picas (0.375 /9.525 mm) in height and preferably larger up to 4 picas (0.6667 /16.933 mm) to fit application. Find logos in Download Graphics. Comply with clear space requirements when possible. X (height of the word) 1X Clear Space No other company s logo/name should be shown in the training module. Any modifications must be pre-approved by Corporate Branding. Color Ensco corporate colors must be used as primary template colors. Transparency levels may be used to have more color selections. Use appropriate color format for the use. Normally, for monitor viewing, either HEX or RGB formats are used. Text Font: Verdana to enhance on-screen readability. Bullets Top level: Format as shown matching text size and use one of the Ensco colors. Secondary bullets can be dashes or solid points.
Graphics See Design Basics in the Ensco Brand Site for guidance on use of support graphics such as staging bands and angles. Support graphics should be incorporated when possible to support the company s brand. Approved icons and symbols may also be used as appropriate. Buttons Buttons are rectangle with rounded corners and may be orange or light blue Highlight text Designate text using an orange box around text to be highlighted; text color may change to orange Hyperlinks Hyperlinks should be Ensco dark blue and underlined Selection Check Boxes Square white background with Ensco dark blue outline. When selected, box should fill with Ensco orange. Photographs When possible, use Ensco approved photography to support the company s brand. See the Photography section in the Ensco Brand Site. Interactivity Photographs should be shaped in an angle format (picture 1) Click on the photo/graphics to select; and selected image appears with an outline around the image (picture 2). Rig Worker When using a rig worker graphic, they must exemplify Ensco PPE standards including clean coveralls and tethered hardhat, proper boots, gloves, protective eyewear and earplugs. Hardhat with Ensco logo Clean cut with no facial hair Ensco logo patch on left sleeve. Go Beyond patch on right sleeve.
