Okay, I read through this whole web page and I still have a question... Ticket questions Are there still tickets available? Currently there are tickets available, but most events do sell out. I don't know if my credit card order went through... can you let me know if you received it? Sure! Best way to confirm is send an e-mail to us at iuparentfamilyprograms@illinois.edu with your name. We would be happy to check for you! What if it's past the refund deadline (10/19/2015) and I'm not going to use my tickets? We're sorry but we cannot issue refunds after the deadline of October 19. You can try to sell your tickets on our Facebook page. However if you do so, you MUST tell the new owners of the tickets to contact the Parent and Family Programs Office with their information so we can ensure ticket assignment runs smoothly. Who needs a ticket? My son/daughter has season football tickets. Do I have to buy him/her another ticket for the game? Dads pre-game BBQ and football game tickets need to be purchased for every person who attends, including U of I students. Even if your student purchased season tickets, you will still need to purchase an additional ticket in order to sit together in the designated Dads Association Section. Will tickets be mailed to me? How do I get my tickets? NO tickets will be mailed! Tickets must be picked up in person. Wednesday, November 11 Friday, November 13, between 10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. Illini Union Room 317. Students who pick tickets up on behalf of families must show their student ID. Friday, November 13, between 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Friday night Welcome Reception, Illini Union South Lounge. Must show ID. Saturday, November 14, at the pre-game BBQ in the ARC. Tickets will be held until the beginning of half-time of the football game. Must show ID. Will there be tickets available for purchase that weekend? If there are any additional tickets for events, you can inquire at the Friday night reception about purchasing tickets. May I get a refund for my tickets? Please refer to the Dads Weekend Refund Policy by clicking here. Pre-game BBQ questions When is the Pre-Game BBQ? The Pre-Game BBQ will begin two hours before the scheduled kick-off of the football game against Iowa. Where is the BBQ? The BBQ takes place in the Activities and Recreation Center (nickname the ARC), 201 East Peabody Drive, Champaign. What is being served? The food will be traditional BBQ fare, consisting of sandwich plates with several sides. Although the menu has not been finalized, past menu items have included BBQ sandwhiches, chicken sandwhiches, au gratin potatoes, green beans, and rolls. A vegetarian option is also available. No matter what time the Pre-Game BBQ begins, the menu is going to be a traditional BBQ. The BBQ menu will not change to breakfast if it is an early game. What is being served? Food will no longer be served after the opening Kick-Off of the football game. Can I purchase a ticket to the BBQ only and not the game/bbq combo?
There are a limited number of BBQ only tickets that are available. Please contact the Parent and Family Programs Office directly to inquire about this option. Football Game questions Can I purchase a ticket to the game only and not the game/bbq combo? Yes, the Dads Association is offering that option. Dads Weekend seating has not been assigned yet. We work to ensure your tickets are together and give priority based on how early you place your ticket order. If several families want to be seated together, please make note of this when placing your ticket order. We will make every effort to accommodate these requests but cannot guarantee it. What if I need special accommodations for my seats? If you require handicap accessible seating, you can bring your purchased Dads Weekend seat tickets to Guest Services at Memorial Stadium, and they will exchange them for accommodated seats. What time is the game? The start time for the game has not been determined yet. The start time will be posted on the Parent and Family Programs website, as well as the Parent and Family Programs Facebook page and Twitter account, as soon as it is announced. Hockey Game questions The seats will be located in the General Admission section of the stands What if I need special accommodations for my seats? If you require handicap accessible seating, please speak with the Ticket Window when you arrive to the Ice Arena. Rock Concert/American English questions

Seating is general seating. There is no pre-assigned seating. What time is the concert? The show starts at 8:00 p.m. Doors are scheduled to open at 7:15 p.m. Sunday brunch questions Are there still tickets available? Yes. General Questions: Parking/ Hotel accommodations Where do I park? For Saturday s game day parking information, click here. Parking information is located at the bottom of the page. Parking is severely restricted and roads around the ARC are closed on game days! For parking on Friday or Sunday around the Union, parking is free in most University lots (please make sure to read parking signs, as some lots/spaces are enforced 24 hours/7 days a week.) Visit the parking website to see parking maps near the Union. Help! I need to find a hotel room! Area hotels start to book up approximately a year in advance. At this late date, there isn't much available. Some hotels have waiting lists. We recommend that you visit www.visitchampaigncounty.org for a listing of accommodations in the area. You may also want the Parent and Family Programs Office Facebook page. Sometimes people who have booked hotels but have decided not to attend Dads Weekend will announce that they are willing to give up their hotel rooms.
