These texts must not be annotated and must not contain additional notes materials. Instructions Use black ink black ball-point pen. Write the infmation required on the front of your answer book. Either 0 1 The Nun s Priest s Tale Geoffrey Chaucer Exple the view that the comedy in The Nun s Priest s Tale arises largely from having animals and birds behave like human beings. In your answer you need to analyse closely Chaucer s authial methods and include comment on the extract below. You must refer to the poem Not my Best Side and at least one other poem. In your answer you need to analyse closely the poets authial methods and include comment on the extract below. From Not my Best Side Why, I said to myself, should my conquer Be so ostentatiously beardless, and ride A hse with a defmed neck and square hoofs? Why should my victim be so Unattractive as to be inedible, And why should she have me literally On a string?
