Select ad size. 2. Decide if the ad will appear in color or black and white. 3. Select a standard ad design from attached sheet or design your own. 4. Complete order form. 5. Provide photos for each space in the ad. 6. Write text for the ad on the order form or attach it on a separate sheet. 7. Provide payment. Early bird pricing discounts apply if ad and payment is received by OCT 30. 8. Write student s name and yearbook ad on check. 9. Deliver all the materials to the yearbook staff in room 205 by the appropriate deadline.

PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: do not cut, glue, or tape photos to the format pages if the ad is black and white, any color photos submitted will appear in black and white care will be taken to return photos; however copy prints should be submitted for irreplaceable photos. The school, yearbook staff, or Jostens do not accept responsibility for lost or damaged photos. select vertical photos for vertical spaces and horizontal photos for horizontal spaces photos will be enlarged or reduced to fit the layout writing lightly in pencil, put the students name on the back of each photo again, lightly in pencil number the back of the photos to match the numbers on the design selected photos will be returned when the yearbooks arrive in May. Please have the student pick up the photos in room 205. IF DESIGNING YOUR OWN AD Follow the same guidelines as stated in the Step-By-Step Instructions and in the Photo Submission Guidelines, only attach your ad design as well. Be sure the ad is ¼, ½, or a full page. A full yearbook ad is approximately 9 x 2. A half yearbook ad is approximately 9 x 6. A quarter yearbook ad is approximately 4.5 x 6. If you want to create the ad on your own please submit it as a jpeg or PDF file. Make sure it is at least 300dpi resolution. If you are submitting a hard copy, we will scan it. Remember, if it is a color ad, the photocopy must be in color. Make sure the ad is photo quality the better the copy, the better your ad will look in the yearbook. Purchase your ad by using your credit card ** IF THERE IS ANYTHING INAPPROPRIATE IN YOUR AD (this includes alcohol, drugs, swimsuits, revealing clothing, weapons, gang signs, etc.), IT WILL NOT BE PLACED IN THE YEARBOOK AND NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
