SUPPORT FOR CREATION PROGRAMME 2015 Support for Creation is a FiraTàrrega programme that has the objective of promoting stage creativity and the production of street performances as well as performances in unconventional spaces. We have established an artistic residence plan that includes three lines of action (Creation Labs, Artistic Residencies and Transnational Co- Productions). It also offers citizens the opportunity of attending the process of several performances being created, based on a series of open rehearsals and other activities in the town of Tàrrega during spring and summer.

CREATION LABS Section representing the FiraTàrrega R&D department, with performances that take a large dose of creative risk. ABAST ELÀSTIC A.U.R.A. (Ahora Usted Recibirá Algo) A.U.R.A is a choreographic event that needs the audience to exist. Under the pretext of reading the aura and offering a pseudo-therapeutic session, the masters of ceremony put the audience under their spotlight. A theatre-dance show, an installation based on the digital recording of everything that happens live and the result of the manipulation of this recording in real time. A playful, fun and participatory ritual that moves from belief to criticism, from adult cynicism to the most childish fascination. Open rehearsal: 06/05/2015 21:00 Meeting point: Pl. dels Comediants Audience: All audiences CARLA ROVIRA Most of all, you've got to hide it from the chicks Starting from the questions What do we hide from the children? and What is it that we do not want to show?, Carla Rovira presents a project in two phases, one of research and the other of creation. The first aims to go deeper into the relationship the youngest establish with the theatre, by means of working with a group of children aged between 9 and 16 and with the target of strengthening their links with the performing arts and promoting their active participation as spectators. In the second part, and from this research, Carla Rovira presents a performance inspired by the role of Mrs. Robinson (from the film The Graduate). Open rehearsal: 05/08/2015 20:00 Meeting point: Pl. de St. Antoni Audience: All audiences Limited capacity. COMPANYIA IGNÍFUGA A house is not a home Protected by the darkness of the night, two men watch the

inside of a house from the garden. They have to break bad news to the family... On this basis, inspired by Maeterlinck s piece Interior, the show explores how the order of things can be turned upside down and how we protect ourselves from life s turns with the safety the home provides. The work of this young company proposes going beyond pure narrative, incorporating a political view of the world and an active critic of the surroundings, with the aim of giving the audience an emotional experience and including them actively in the dramatic action. Open rehearsal: 05/06/2015 22:00 Meeting point: Pl. de St. Antoni Audience: +18. Limited capacity. LEIRE MESA Twisting the balance A Basque artist who trained in various circus disciplines in England and Sweden, who has worked with the company Nofit State Circus, and who presents her second personal project in collaboration with the renowned visual artist Mireia Sallarès, experienced in building tales from reality. A trans-disciplinary and participative piece that builds a social discourse based on research about the violence, power, memories, dreams and pleasures that are part of our lives. Open rehearsal: 01/07/2015 20h Meeting point: Pl. de St. Antoni Audience: All audiences Limited capacity. MOVEMENT LABORATORY Show sponsored by FiraTàrrega and El Graner CÍA. VERO CENDOYA La partida Inspired in the universe of Paolo Zucca s film The Referee, this choreographic piece establishes a dialogue between contemporary dance and football. 5 dancers, 5 footballers and 1 referee on a stage demonstrate the

similarities and differences between the two disciplines. A reflection about the needs and priorities of the human being. Passion and humour, strength and sensitivity, animality and sophistication clash in a game in which the protagonists and spectators risk their lives on the playing field. Open rehearsal: 12/06/2015 at 22:00 Meeting point: St Eloi Pla del Dipòsit Audience: All audiences ARTISTIC RESIDENCIES Shows that complete their production process based on a creative stay in the city of Tàrrega. ÍNTIMS PRODUCCIONS Wasted After the excellent reception of their first project ( The Place, directed by Jorge-Yamam Serrano), the company tackles their second production based on a text by the poet, rapper and playwright Kate Tempest, first performed in the United Kingdom in 2011. The story of three friends who, tired of a confusing present that is not what they expected, want to change the course of their lives. A sitespecific show, directed by Iván Morales ( Sé de un lugar ), that includes the audience in an intense dramatic experience. Open rehearsal: 30/06/2015 at 20:00 Meeting point: Pl. de St. Antoni Audience: +14 Limited capacity. TRANSNATIONAL PRODUCTIONS 1 WATT Free Watt With over 10 years of experience on projects in urban spaces, this French company invites us to look at our everyday surroundings through the eyes of others. The process is simple: from a specific place, context, desire or necessity, people are invited to pay complete attention.

The aim is to go deeper, learn, and seek contradictions... A work that which leads us to play, to listen, to choose, let ourselves be surprised, that strikes us as an audience, as citizens, as neighbours, as a community that turns your everyday life upside down, that shows us how to question the evidence and, finally, makes us think about truth and knowledge. Open rehearsal: 21/03/2015 at 17:00 Meeting point: Pl. del Carme Audience: All audiences With the support of the Pyrenees Mediterranean Euroregion, within the project «CARRER Circuits de les Arts del Carrer Euroregionals» VACA 35 Ahora me doy cuenta After their visit to FiraTàrrega in 2013 with the surprising adaptation of The Maids by Jean Genet Lo único que necesita una gran actriz..., this Mexican company is back with an experience of stage gastronomy. A project that aims to bring together memories, emotions, anecdotes and worldviews through the dialogue between two worlds that meet around a table. A work of collective creation between Vaca 35 and TeatroDeCerca. An experience for the senses but also a great opportunity to deepen our knowledge of our civilisation. Open rehearsal: 30/07/2015 at 21:00 Meeting point: Les Sitges Av. De Balaguer s/n Audience: +18 Limited capacity.
