The Module reads necessary data from CAN bus, makes calculations on its base, and translates the results to the CAN bus as well as simulates the analog signals of the pressure Easy Install function that analyzes the vehicle CAN bus defines the existence of the engine as well as dozing module and NOx sensor in CAN bus. Module source. It must be connected to the pin 15 (terminal 15) of X1 (16 pins) engine ECU connector. Pin assignments Pin 9. CAN bus. It must be connected to the pin 7 (CAN High) of X1 (16 pins) engine ECU connector. Pin 3. CAN bus. It must be connected to the pin 10 (CAN Low) of X1 (16 pins) engine ECU connector. Pin 5. Dosing valve signal. It must be connected to the pin 49 of X2 (55 pins) engine ECU connector. Pin 7. Ground Terminal 31. It must be connected to the pin 9 (terminal 31) of X1 (16 pins) engine ECU connector. Pin 11. Adblue pressure signal. It must be connected to the pin 31 of X2 (55 pins) engine ECU connector. Wire from pin 31 must be cut in a cable side. Pin 12. Air pressure signal. It must be connected to the pin 23 of X2 (55 pins) engine ECU connector. Wire from pin 23 must be cut in a cable side. Mode of operation description The module has modes of working: Switching over from one mode to another is done automatically according to the priority. - Waiting, The highest priority is the edification mode of disconnected SCR system and NOx sensor from - Simulating, the source. - Indication of the correct disconnection (from the power system) SCR and NOx sensor. (Easy Install function). The mode of operation can be defined according to the condition of VD17 LED states. See Table 2 VD17 LED states. 3

There s no data in CAN bus or incorrect connection to the Module of the CAN bus. 2 The Module is connected up. The module Red and Green gets data from the engine. NOx sensor is NOT disconnected from the power. The Module is not connected up. Possible causes incorrect connection of the Module or the ignition is switched off 1. The Module is connected to the X1 connector (16 pin) engine ECU. You must disconnect X1 from ECU and take off the cover. Connect the module to the wires according to the scheme (See connecting diagram). 2. The Module connects to the X2 connector (55 pin) engine ECU. Yoy must disconnect X2 from ECU and take off the cover. Connect the module to Sequence Module connection the wires according to the scheme (See connecting diagram). 3. Cut off the pressure signal wires from Adblue pressure and air pressure sensors in X2 connector. The wires must be cut off from cable so that the wires of the Module are still connected to X2 engine ECU. 4. Disconnect the power from SCR system. For ACTROS truck F1 (15А) fuse must be 4
pulled out in the А1 module (See pic. Power disconnection ACTROS), for AXOR, ATEGO F11 (15А) fuse must be pulled out in the А1 module (See pic. Power disconnection AXOR, ATEGO). 5. Disconnect from the power NOx sensor. For ACTROS truck pin 7 must be pulled out of the X6.2 socket located in the transitional shield cabin-frame under the hood (Pic. Power disconnection ACTROS), for ACTROS pin 12 truck must be pulled out of the X4.2 socket located under panel from the passenger side. (Pic. Power disconnection AXOR, ATEGO). Pic.
