Agreement Review for test 1. Make sure the SINGULAR SUBJECT NOUN agrees with a SINGULAR VERB. Ignore prepositions and other non-subject words near the verb. Make sure the PLURAL SUBJECT NOUN agrees with a PLURAL VERB Both of the jokes ( was / were ) hilarious! Poets who love symbolism ( confuses / confuse ) me!

COMMA Review for test 1. Use a comma after phrases that begin a sentence. To get married officially you must have the Friar s help., 2. Use a comma to separate two or more adjectives in front of a noun. Mercutio s boisterous unpredictable language is a treat., 3. Use a comma ahead of a F.A.n.b.o.y. that sets off a complete sentence.
