The SmartLink (SLN-88BT) is an 8 x 8 HDMI matrix switch controlled by an Apple iphone, ipod touch, ipad or ipad mini using Savant s TrueControl apps. The SLN-88BT is designed using HDBaseT Alliance specifications allowing direct connectivity with HDBaseT -compliant devices without requiring a Savant SmartLink receiver. SmartLink technology is designed to ensure interoperability with third-party HDBaseT products. HD Matrix Switcher The SLN-88BT provides eight HDMI inputs for Blu-ray Disc and DVD players, HDTV receivers, computers, media receivers, and other HD digital sources. Digital outputs include eight HDMI, eight Sony/Philips Digital Interconnect Format (S/PDIF digital coax) ports, and eight SmartLink connections to digital sinks (displays, projectors, or computers). Multi-Channel Audio HDMI handles the latest 7. surround sound formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
