10.3. If the advert contains transparent areas which overlay the page content while it is still visible, these areas must be clickable. If this is not guaranteed, there can t be any user irritations because of the size and the function of the advert. United Internet Media reserves the right to demand the delivery of a semi-transparend background for the advert or to deny the advert. UIM also reserves the right to exclude certain browsers from the delivery. 10.4. Buttons must be defined for all clickable areas. The uniform standard for the transfer of redirects for marketer-sided click counting is the click tag method. 10.5. Action Script 2: on (release) { geturl(_root.clicktag, _root.clicktarget); } 10.6. Polite Download: Polite Download is a technology which first loads a smaller initial file (swf. weight according to OVK specifications) and then downloads a larger file (up to 10 MB) once the site has been fully loaded (e.g. swf, video, graphics). Alternatively this reloading process can be started 5-10 seconds after the initial loading or by user initiation (click on button, Mouse Over). A distinction should be made between narrow and broadband users (in particular for videos) when reloading. Basically the reloading should not start after the initial loading, but after the above mentioned processes. Delivery via a 3rd party is possible, if the above-mentioned processes are assured as well. 11. United Internet Media General Requirements The General Terms and Conditions still apply http://www.united-internet-media.de/de/agb/ and the general guidelines for advertising media http://www.united-internet-media.de/de/downloadcenter/allgemeine-richtlinien/. A breach of the above mentioned points as well against the applicable law will automatically lead to an advert being denied. www.united-internet-media.de 6
