Logo usage guidelines for reproduction
Welcome to the ELECSA logo usage guidelines This information has been prepared for our s to ensure a unified presentation of the ELECSA logo and identity. It does not attempt to cover every conceivable application, but does provide sufficient guidance to show how the logo should be applied in a consistent manner. A consistent application of the guidelines is important as this helps to reinforce both the status and recognition of the ELECSA name and its associated value. ELECSA s can be part of the overall promotional campaign by using the ELECSA logo to promote their own business. We recommend that you use the ELECSA logo on a range of materials such as stationery, business cards, leaflets, advertisements, office/building signage and websites. The three elements The ELECSA logo is the principal stamp of the certification schemes offered by the ECA, comprising three elements the ELECSA name, the integrated S icon and the Part of the ECA Group strapline. The three elements must always be shown as here, in this relationship, and never separated. The ELECSA logo is owned by the ECA through it s wholly owned subsidiary, ECA Certification Ltd and is part of the Association s identity. Third parties not directly associated with the ECA through membership or registration may only use the logo when express prior permission has been sought from the ECA. The ELECSA logo has been specially drawn and must not be recreated or stretched in any way. The original logo colours must not be altered, except when used on mono applications. The clear zone To achieve maximum standout, the logo must always be represented clearly. It should have sufficient space around it and not be crowded by additional distracting information. Therefore to avoid anything encroaching on it we have created a clear zone, the dimensions of which are formed by using the letter E from the ELECSA logo. The minimum size Whilst there is no maximum size, to ensure that the logo is always legible, the minimum allowable width of the entire corporate identity is 30mm. 30mm Page 2 of 6
