Matrix Switchers Apollo 4K+ Multi-Format Seamless Matrix Viewer The SY Apollo 4K+ is an advanced HD/UHD Multi-format Matrix Viewer that can handle and control a range of video input signals from 480i to 1920 x 1200 WUXGA as well as HD video sources including 1080p. The Apollo 4K+ can display these inputs in full screen, picture-in-picture and quad-screen views on an HD or 4K UHD display. Most common digital or analogue video and audio inputs are supported, including AV (Composite Video), YPbPr (component), VGA and HDMI. The Apollo 4K supports three main modes of operation: 1. 4K UHD Quad Video Processor 2. Full HD Multi-View Video Processor 3. Seamless 4 x 2 Matrix Switcher The Apollo 4K+ employs a powerful video management engine that enables three modes of operation and also allows multiple combinations of use. Each Multi-View window parameter is completely customizable including layer priority, window positions, window size, background transparency, border colour and border pixel width. The Apollo 4K+ is fully HDCP compliant and features full EDID management for both VGA and HDMI connections. Control IRL Infra-red USB Learner IR LEARNER and RELAY BOXES The SY-IRL is used in conjunction with the SY Device Suite TM software to allow the learning of IR commands from the remote control of a large number of products where the only control input is the infra-red remote control. Simply plug the SY-IRL in to any USB port on your PC and start the Device Suite TM software. Then use the IR Learning mode of Device Suite TM to record all the desired IR commands from the remote controller. The two relay units below are both designed to operate from the SY Keypad output ports to allow the keypad to operate devices that require either a simple contact closure interface or where there is a need to switch a higher voltage than the SY Keypad is designed for, such as directly controlling mains operated motors. The SY-KP-LV2-DIN provides two change-over contacts that are only capable of handling voltages up to 12V DC @ 20A. USB Infra-red learner for use with SY Device Suite TM software Capture infra-red commands from handsets into Device Suite TM New Infra-red drivers can easily be created from the handset Commands learnt can be included into any Keypad or an RC1 Script or Macro SY-IRL The SY-KP-HV2M-B2 only provides two normally open contacts but with the added protection prevents both outputs being made active simultaneously. Audio SY has extended its range of audio products to include new products for 4K UHD as well as 4K 18G HDMI 2.0 Compact Amplifier 2 x 25W with RS232 Control EM-UHD-EX Embed or Extract (De-embed) from 4K UHD HDMI 2.0. Case Studies Twickenham Stadium Lancashire NHS Trust Unilever Anglia Ruskin University The world-renowned Twickenham stadium, home of England Rugby, seating an impressive 82,000 spectators is the largest dedicated rugby union venue in the world. When it came to upgrading 160 Executive Boxes, SY Keypads were chosen bringing the benefits of a product with a smart user interface and control system all in one package. The Keypads provide a modern, robust and easy to use solution for any person to walk into the box, turn on the TV, change channel and adjust the volume of the display without the need for any further guidance. After the final whistle when home time comes the Keypads also interface via the IPTV system to allow all displays to be switched off remotely. The Harbour is a 154 bedded mental health hospital designed with extensive input from service users and clinicians and is based on good practice guidance and 'safety by design' to ensure that it can provide high quality care. SY custom Keypads were chosen to provide local control of TV and presentation facilities for the bedrooms, communal areas and staff meeting rooms. Designed and customised for the project they incorporate a local HDMI laptop input along with the Keypad and controller all in one standard housing. Every day, around the world, people reach for Unilever products. In fact, 150 million times a day, someone somewhere chooses a Unilever product. For a number of recent meeting rooms and collaboration space upgrades the SY MS51 Scaling Presentation switchers were selected for the HDMI and VGA switching with one single scaled output via Cat cable to the display.
