MEET UINCY COMPRESSOR For almost a century, uincy Compressor has produced the highest quality air compressor products used around the work in a variety of industryies in the most demanding conditions. uincy s story begins in July of 1920, with the birth of the Wall Pump and Compressor Company in downtown uincy, IL. In 1924, the company changes its name to the uincy Compressor company. As the demand for compressed air grows, so too does the company. In 1937, it introduces the R-25 line and the uincy name becomes synonomous with quality as well as innovation. In the years ahead, uincy leads in the development of rotary screw technology and in 1970, launches the legendary SI series. The company opens its Bay Minette Alabama machining and manufacturing operation in 1980, and expands in China, near Shanghai in 2004. Supported by a distribution network of more than 200 locations worldwide, uincy offers one of the broadest product lines available anywhere including a full range of rotary and reciprocating air compressors from 1/2 to 200 horsepower, as well as vacuum pumps, gas compressors, air dryers and a broad line of parts and accessories. Today, uincy Compressor is a leading designer and manufacturer of reciprocating and rotary screw air compressors, vacuum pumps and a full line of air treatment components. uincy has been setting industry standards for nearly a century. uincy Compressors are used around the world to provide cost effective solutions for a broad range of industries and built for the most demanding conditions where performance, reliability and toughness are essential. BASIC LOGO USAGE Basic Logo Usage The uincy Compressor logo consists of a circular and C symbol combined with customized Avenir fonts. The word COMPRESSOR must appear in all instances of air compressor reference. In the case of vacuum pumps, it may be omitted. 1 The uincy Compressor logo must always be used in its original form. It should never be recreated. All formats are published in the Virtual Library or may be obtained by contacting Marketing Services. 2 The logo can be used as large as needed, but should not be used less than 1 (2.54 cm) in width. 1" (2.54 cm) 3/16" (.48 cm) 3 Certain situations may require the use of the logo at less than 1 in width. CLEAR SPACE & PROPORTION Clear Space To maintain the integrity and impact of the uincy Compressor logo, it is important to be conscious of the amount of clear space used around the logo. 4 The recommended clear space around the logo is equal to the height of the in uincy. The height is always proportional to the size of the logo, and will increase or decrease as the logo size increases or decreases. 5 The space is always used to determine the clear space around the logo. 6 If the uincy logo is used with an identifier or positioning statement, then an additional space should be left around the incorporated text. 4 Performance You Demand. LOGO COLOR & USAGE Color is used as a key identifier of the uincy visual identity. The uincy Compressor logo uses two predominate colors, PMS 294 Blue and Black. This is the preferred color com- bination. Certain issues will limit the use of a color logo. In those instances, the logo will either be all black or all white. ACCEPTABLE APPLICATIONS To maintain the integrity and impact of the uincy Compressor logo, it is important to use the appropriate logo at the appropriate time. Generally, the audience and application dictate which logo to choose. When in doubt, contact Marketing Services (251) 239-2782. 10 uincy s primary black and blue logo must be used in all instances where space and orientation permit. When in doubt about which logo to use, contact Marketing Services. 11 If space does not allow for a horizontal logo, a vertical version may be used with approval from Marketing Services. Do not replace a horizontal logo with the vertical version at any time. 12 If the word Compressor is illegible, the size may be adjusted slightly to maintain clarity. It must never appear as bold as the word uincy. 13 When producing signage, the horizontal logo is the only acceptable version for use. 6 Performance You Demand. Reliability You Trust.

ACCEPTABLE APPLICATIONS 14 The logos bearing the public web site address must be used on all packaging applications, and for all promotional activities, i.e. pens, mugs, hats, etc. The web address is to be set only in lowercase letters and without the www. prefix. Apparel is excluded and does not require the web address. Use in horizontal applications. 15 The logos bearing the public web site address must be used on all packaging applications, and for all promotional activities, i.e. pens, mugs, hats, etc. Use in vertical applications. 16 It is acceptable for the logo to appear in a field of Royal Blue, the PMS 294 reversed white on units in the vertical configuration for air compressor units. 17 All packaging and corrugated material must have the full blue logo and web address.
