ABOUT THE CHORUS The Chorus proudly offers two ensembles the Woodland Chamber Singers and the Woodland Choral Singers each dedicated to promoting choral singing in Yolo County. The goal of the Chorus is to provide our singers and our audiences with a stimulating musical experience. The Woodland Chamber Singers is a select ensemble, open by audition to Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass (SATB) voices from Woodland, Davis, Sacramento, Dixon, Winters, and the surrounding areas. The Woodland Choral Singers is a non-auditioned, volunteer ensemble that brings together a wide range of voices, ages, and skill levels from the community. Both ensembles perform literature from the standard choral repertoire to contemporary music. In an effort to offer musical variety, knowledge, and vocal skill to the choral experience, singers are provided the opportunity to perform as soloists, and in small ensembles.
