1. General This specification describes the construction and properties of Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable for duct install application. The optical fiber used in the cable is in compliance with fiber attributes of ITU-T G.652.D. 2. Sheath printing The following information shall be printed by suitable method on the outer sheath of the cable with white color in one-meter intervals. the accuracy of length marking is ±1%. When re-marking is necessary, it shall be printed in yellow color. (1) Manufacturer's name (2) Month and Year of manufacture (3) Length marking (4) Number of Fiber (5) "PLDT CO. Packing 4.1 Drum The cable will be delivered in the length required on a wooden drum. 4.2 Cable end The running end shall be fitted with a suitable cap and the other end shall be fitted with a suitable cap. 2
5. Test Report Manufacturer will inspect or test all cables before delivery and submit the test report as following. Data from optical fiber vender may be used for some test items.
