The high school and middle school mascots are the mule and the bronco. What do these magniicent animals have in common They both have a kick. n act, they kick with both back hoos at the same time. ust imagine scenes rom a Hollywood western where stubborn mules and bucking broncos let loose! There are a series o double stomp sound eects spread throughout the piece. They happen in a variety o dierent rhythmic combinations but always in pairs. Every section has the opportunity to play the inectious melody at some point in the piece and can remain in 1st position throughout. The irst violins have the option to move to 3rd position at points depending on the technical level o the orchestra. The stomps can be achieved with players alternating between their let and right eet. basses are standing they will need to use one oot or both stomps. All stomps are indicated with an X notation in the parts. This is one o those tunes that is ust plain un to play and builds rhythmic skills.
