Students are instructed to return the Response Sheet answer scripts at the earliest. Dear Student, I am glad to contact you once again through this communication. The Response Sheets are intended to study the course materials thoroughly. Yet, as an incentive 20 marks are prescribed towards response sheets internal assessment for each Course. The Response Sheets should be submitted before 15.05.2018. You are required to follow the instructions given below in order to avoid problem in future. 1. Response Sheets should be written only in the own hand writing of the student concerned and it should not be type-written. Response Sheets should reveal the knowledge acquired and understood by the student. 2. All answers scripts (with enrolment number marked on the top right hand corner on all pages) should be put in an envelope, with superscription, Response Sheets BLIS and sent to The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar 608 002. 3. The Response Sheets received by the Directorate after 15.05.2018 but before 30.05.2018 should be accompanied with a late fee for Rs.300/- by Demand Draft in favour of the Director, D.D.E., Annamalai University, and Payable at Annamalainagar or Chidambaram. 4. 1 COURSE IV: LIBRARY CLASSIFICATION PRACTICAL (WRITTEN) This Response sheet consists of two sections, namely Section A and Section B. Both the sections are compulsory. Each section carries TEN marks. Section A is for Dewey Decimal Classification Practice. Dewey Decimal Classification and Relative Index (19 th Edition) books are available in all the Annamalai University, Distance Education Study Centers for reference. You can also make use of the Dewey Decimal Classification books available in the libraries of your region. Section B is for Colon Classification Practice.
