SBTVD Project Brazilian context Digital television is not a simple technical evolution from the analog TV, but its a whole new communications platform Models and standards for Terrestrial Digital Television should be developed starting from the real needs of the Brazilian society with emphasis on low cost and on interactivity as well, based on the increase of content production and distribution aiming to improve the national research and development efforts.
