A/B/C-Channels 3 Types for Every Application Power analyzers are available in different accuracy classes, to allow the user to choose the right tool for the job at hand. After all, not all applications require maximum precision; often lower resolution and frequency range are sufficient. This is why the LMG600 series offers three different channel types, which can be combined in the same chassis without problems to ensure that you always have a measuring device tailored to your needs. Accuracy High-precision measurements at high bandwidth 0.025 0.04 Precise measurements on 50Hz applications Cost-effective broadband measurements 0.11 10 khz 500 khz 10 MHz Bandwidth 7

Channels Right Type for Every Application. Save Money Example: Electric Drive System 2-4 AC DC DC AC M C-channel A/B-channel A/B-channel 1) 2) 3) 1) Input of the converter: C1-channels are usually sufficient for this. 2) DC intermediate circuit: depending on the required level of precision, A1 or B1-channels are required, as the DC intermediate circuit exhibits significant residual ripple under certain circumstances. 3) Converter output: depending on the required level of precision, A1 or B1-channels only are to be used. 9
Filters. Accuracy without compromise In this menu the filters and wirings can be set. For several signals, it is necessary to fit filters or change the signal coupling/wiring to get the right values. You can adjust this settings separately for each group. You can select Single Path or Dual Path signal processing 10
DualPath Twice the Results, Half the Time Scope display of the voltages at the converter output. The wideband values ( ) show the PWM signal. The narrowband values ( ) are sinusoidal. 11
DualPath Twice the Results, Half the Time Simultaneous measurement in two bandwidths DualPath - No compromises, No doubt The LMG670 was the first power analyzer to have two A/D converters in two independent signal paths for each current and voltage channel. One for the filterless measurement of the wideband signal, and a second for the narrowband signal at the output of the anti-aliasing filter. The parallel processing of the digitized sample values gives the user access to both measurements of the same signal, without risking aliasing effects. This unique procedure has established itself for the complete LMG600 series. It avoids all of the downsides of previous approaches and guarantees the most precise result in the shortest time possible. The LMG600 series power analyzers get all necessary values in one shot. Fast. Reliable. No hassle. No compromises. No redundant work. 12

Customize a Screen Enter CUSTOM menu Pre-defined views for introduction and measuring examples. Use the first two views Introduction 1/2 and Introduction 2/2 to get a first impression. There are two basic editors: Tap shortto enter the content editor: show the grid, create boxes and add content Tap longto enter the layout editor: modify the layout, move/remove and/or resize boxes 28
Customize a Screen Enter View 6 Use the empty view to customize your own menu. First you will see soft keys to clear/load/save menus and/or to set the grid/background Now we want to build a custom menu step by step to display the power and efficiency of a variable frequency drive. First, enter the settings as marked to set the grid dimensions. 29
Customize a Screen Settings Set the grid dimensions as required. This can be specified by the required solution for the layout or the required number of parameters etc. Enter 12 rows and 24 columns. You will see the grid dimension inthe preview. 30
Customize a Screen Rename Give your own menu a name by pressing the soft key Rename. Enter a name for your custom menu. 31
Customize a Screen Set the title Enter the content editor to see the grid. Tap longer on the marked box to enter the layout editor. The box will be framed in red. Tap and hold one corner of the red framed box to resize it. Resize it as shown in the left lower screenshot. 32
Customize a Screen Set the title for the menu Leave the layout editor and to re-enter the content editor. Mark the resized box and press the soft key Add Textas marked in the screenshot. *A text in the custom menu can consist of standard html-notations. 33
Customize a Screen Complete the custom menu Add all the remaining graphs and subtitles as shown in the screenshot to your custom menu. To add graphs repeat the procedure as for adding measurands but select Add Graph instead in the content menu. In the content editor the scope source can be selected as well. The signals shown in the graphs need to be set in the GRAPH menu first. 34
