THE COMPANY La Mue/tte was created in 2014, after the encounter of a puppeteer-actress and a musician-puppeteer, both interested by the question of movement, its transmission and its repercussion (sound, images, handling) Delphine Bardot and Santiago Moreno collaborate with the project to develop a research on visual and musical theatre, to engage the the body and the puppetry in their soundful and rhythmic part, and the music in tis physical part, through a certain mechanic of the movement. DELPHINE BARDOT Actress, puppeteer, visual artist and stage director, she explores puppetry with several companies in France (Les Clandestines Ficelles, L Escabelle, Les Fruits du Hasard...). She has been part of many shows created by La S.O.U.P.E. Cie for 10 years. In this company she lead a personal work about the relationship between body and object and created 2 solos, «Vanité» and «Sous le Jupon». She developed especially the principles of dissociation and segmentation of the body (manipulation on hands, fingers, or other parts of the body). With «Body Building», she developed this work between music, gestures, objects, with no text this time. She initiated a research on movement, its musicality and the relationship between body and object and deepened the theme of metamorphosis, all the axes of work that founded the birth of Cie La Mue/tte. SANTIAGO MORENO Musician and puppeteer from Argentina, Santiago is the founder of the Italian-Argentinian musical group Aparecidos and the puppet Company Dromosofista, with the show El Cubo Libre. He collaborates with the French company La SOUPE Co., in the shows Body Building and Macao et Cosmage (short version) Within the Company La Mue/tte, he develops his own researches about One-man-band and exacerbated dissociation of the musician, in strong link with the principles of objects-handling necessary to the puppeteer. He declines this specific work in several aspects, one for the street, and the other more intimate and experimental for indoors.
