HIGHLY INTEGRATED AND RUGGEDIZED ONBOARD FTI SOLUTION MDR - MODULAR DATA RECORDER ACQUISITION, PROCESSING, RECORDING AND DISTRIBUTION OF AIRBORNE FTI DATA
MATCHES YOUR TEST REQUIREMENTS ALLOWS EASY INTEGRATION INTO YOUR FTI ARCHITECTURE COLLECTS DATA IN COMPLEX AND HARSH AIRBORNE FLIGHT TEST ENVIRONMENTS Thanks to its modularity, the MDR system will adapt from the lightest to the most extensive daily test requirements in terms of variety of signals to be recorded environmental constraints recording time A wide range of signal interface modules ensure that today s and tomorrow s requirements will be addressed and are a safe investment for the future. THE MDR SYSTEM FITS SEAMLESSLY INTO YOUR EXISTING FTI ARCHITECTURE The MDR system capability can be expanded according to the various stages of the flight test, i.e. it adopts to complex configurations at early stages, and to reduced ones at final validation. The modular MDR architecture gives you the flexibility in choosing cost effective systems or high end FTI systems with high capacity storage media. The MDR system can be configured by the user with dedicated interface modules tailored to the most common data sources and busses. Furthermore, the system can be controlled without additional software. You can choose between chassis with 2, 4 or 8 slots for signal interface modules.
SUPPORTS STANDARDS IN FLIGHT TEST INSTRUMENTATION NEW GENERATION OF ACQUISITION MODULES The MDR system provides a wide spectrum of storage and signal interface modules, supporting a huge variety of data-types (PCM, ETHERNET, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, analog, video, serial, discrete, and many more). It also supports a large range of video interfaces (DVI, SDI, PAL, NTSC, RTP) including scaling and merging functionality. CUBIC MODULARITY Cubic modularity is provided by hybrid signal interface modules that alow to combine up to 4 different data types within one module. This enables you to create complex testing scenarios in small sites. FEATURES MOST MODERN TELEMETRY TECHNIQUES A PCM telemetry output stream embedding IRIG 106 Chapter 10 packets can be very easily defined without the practical challenges of the standard Chapter 4 constraints. It allows analysis of test data on ground stations in real time during flight tests. This method has been published as IRIG 106 Chapter 7. The MDR system provides the possibility to share data in real time or time-shifted between several clients for optimisation of the flight tests. You can also distribute the data for coping with debriefing time or mission confidential constraints.
