THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE HIT ABC TV SERIES.
A DryWrite and Soho Theatre presentation in association with Malthouse Theatre. BY / Phoebe Waller-Bridge DIRECTION & DRAMATURGY / Vicky Jones PERFORMED BY / Maddie Rice DESIGNER / Holly Pigott SOUND DESIGN & COMPOSITION / Isobel Waller-Bridge LIGHTING DESIGN / Elliot Griggs FLEABAG Fleabag may seem over-sexed, emotionally unfiltered and selfobsessed, but that s just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig themed café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose. The inspiration behind the hit TV series of the same name, we bring Soho Theatre s blisteringly funny solo from the mind of Phoebe Waller-Bridge to Melbourne. Stumbling through a maze of social anxiety, disastrous job interviews and meaningless sex, Fleabag serves up an uproariously true account of some sort of a female living her some sort of a life.
