Many shows are choosing to sync the show LED lights to a gentle wash in all seating areas. This also gives you full control of house from FOH. That means when your stage LEDs go red, well, the aisle lights, the pavilion ceiling and even the large trees on the back of the lawn can be the exact same red to truly make the audience feel like part of the show.
In house video Merriweather has 5 LED video screens: two that are 12 x 16 and positioned stage left and right and three screens for the lawn. We do video at every show and have an all-digital production package to use if you are not carrying video. We also offer an SDI connection so we can integrate our system with yours. Merriweather has been a leader in Greening Initiatives for many years and some highlights include 2007 we added a solar farm to the loading dock roof and have already produced over 12,000 kwh/yr. 2008 we applied for a co-op biodiesel fueling station for 875 participating co-op members and tour busses (currently on hold do to new state EPA regs). 2009 we built a LEEDS certified new concessions / restroom building with waterless urinals, green roof water capture system etc. 2010 we are hoping to save 51,072 kwh/yr replacing 85 par can house lights with color blast LED fixtures in a property lighting overhaul. 2011 and beyond, I.M.P. Is committed to picking one project a year that makes REAL change... Artist Lounge Merriweather has an area located backstage with hammocks, wifi, lots of large trees and of course the massage tent where Merriweather offers complimentary massage therapy for all artists and crew every show from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Comfortable Stay Backstage at Merriweather you'll find many things to make sure your date is excellent: large bath towels, a dedicated 50 mbps internet connection and Eat to the Beat catering, all the way from London. But what makes your date special is Merriweather's highly trained and very experienced backstage staff. History Merriweather opened in 1967. The pavilion is now operating in its sixth decade and continues to be a special venue...
