: low latency modular K and IP multiview system Screen overlays: UMD and Tally The system can handle multiple individual selectable UMD and Tally overlays. K ULTRAHD EtheRnet infrastructure Modular Multiview The world s fastest K and IP multiviewer When it comes to speed and flexibility, there is nothing on the market to compare with our new, a powerful, modular multiviewer that can handle both K and any IP video format. Featuring vastly improved specifications, is the industry s only single field latency (0ms@0Hz and,ms@9.9hz) multiviewer system to offer external looping for an unlimited amount of input channels. Thanks to its modular architecture it can either be used as a stand-alone unit or it can be combined with over 00 different Synapse signal processing modules to provide a system that truly stands out from the competition. s unequalled low processing delay and start up time makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, from the smallest to the largest, including fast response production monitor walls; high resolution, high source count monitor walls and OB van preview monitoring and shading. The system consists of basic models. These versions can be mixed and matched to build a hybrid multiviewer with up to hundreds of inputs and 00p heads (on SDI) or two heads with UHD/K resolution. Multiple connector panels are available to allow for different I/O configurations. Key Features Dual 0Gb Ethernet Agnostic IP video channel picker compatible with formats like S0-, AVB, TR0, TR0 etc. x UHD or x HD outputs Linear expandable system in steps of SDI input channels or networked channels (with full S0- protection) Unlimited amounts of inputs per dual UHD output configuration or per output configuration Multi card multiview systems can span multiple frames by use of mini SAS-HD cables Ultra fast boot time: the only single field latency (0ms @ 0Hz,,ms @ 9.9Hz) multiview system in the world Linear increase of cost (no penalty for a small systems) Linear increase of horse power A single card has enough processing power to scale, position, de-embed, overlay and process video channels. When you double the amount of inputs, you double the emoung of processing power A channel system has times the processing power of an channel system A Synapse based modular system: can be combined with over 00 different available audio and video processing modules UMD and Tally features Adjustable UMD height in percentage of the screen Input format display on top of screen (show always, show never or show 0 seconds) or in UMD Over or under picture display Safe area markers Action Graphics Action + graphics Shoot and protect : Shoot and protect Action Shoot and protect Graphics Shoot and protect Action + Graphics Up to individual UMD regions individual tallies Tally and border colors Gray Green Red Amber Every UMD region can handle different source information, like for instance: VITC time code ATC time code Static UMD Dynamic UMD Aspect ratio of source (WSS/VI/S0) Video source input format (00p, etc) Borders can follow Tally, or set as static borders UMD and Tally control by different control protocols: TSL ASCI ACP (Synapse open IP protocol) Manual (Cortex)
Screen overlays: audio metering and metadata The system is designed to handle multiple individual audio metering and metadata overlays. Audio metering and metadata features Individual meter adjustment per feed Different meter scales AES/EBU BBC Nordic User definable transition of color (green>yellow>red) Meters over or next to picture, transparent or masked Meters in seperate box (not linked to video) Horizontal or vertical meters Meters with or without scale Audio format reporting (OSD) Audio bar capacity: Up to bar graphs per MGx00 Up to bar graphs per MGx00 Up to bar graphs per MNN00 Show ANC mode (blanking in picture) H blanking only V blanking only H+V blanking Signal integrity checking in OSD: Video black/freeze/loss Audio silence/clip/loss Audio Phase/mono Closed Captions/WST Metadata and input signalling Static input name Video format Time code (ATC, VITC) Aspect ratio of source (WSS/VI/S0) Audio signalling Screen overlays: clocks The system can handle multiple individual clocks in different styles, assignable to VITC, ATC, LTC SNTP (Ethernet) or system time.

The cards can be combined in any combination up to cards in the new SFR gen with the new SMP power supply. Because of the external Daisy Chain mini SAS-HD connector you can build a multiviewer with, in theory, an unlimited amount of input channels, as you can chain the cards even between frames. You can split the multiviewer into smaller chunks of cards. A MGU00 can also be used stand-alone as a dual quadsplit (or even octsplit) with 00p pictures spread over UHD screens (pixel mapping with no scaling). Display configurations Example : x HD to UHD quad splits The following examples show the flexibility of the system but not all possibilities are displayed. The possibilities are endless. In this example, every input is displayed natively on a high resolution UHD display forming two quad splits Please note that the internal video path consists of two UHD/K (0x0 pixels) heads. If a source can be scaled and positioned twice, as in the MGU00, each scaled and positioned image will be positioned on each head independently. There is a scaler per input for head and a scaler for head in this case. Even though the card has SDI outputs and they can be used independently as streams the limitation will be that the cores consists of two UHD heads. 0x0 UHD 0x0 UHD SDI Outputs RRC/S0 SDI Inputs x SDI based combinations example with daisy chaining for single multiview set x 90x00 RRC/S0 SDI Outputs SDI Inputs Daisy Chain Audio Boards HEAD SDI based combinations with daisy chaining for a single multiview set and Quad Speed Bus connected audio cards like a DIO for external AES inputs or the DEE for Dolby E decoding MGU00 OR 00 SDI Outputs RRC/S0 SDI Inputs IP Inputs Daisy Chain SDI and IP mixed combinations with daisy chaining for a single multiview set
