EXPERIENCE. Custom designs and hundreds of standard units supporting the aerospace, military, transportation, and communications industries for signal routing and ATE applications. Dow-Key Microwave, a leader in design and manufacture of switching products, acquired its matrix product line from K&L Microwave (our sister company and part of Ceramic & Microwave Products group) in 1999. Over a decade later, Dow-Key has expanded its line vigorously to meet the needs of today s customers and has offered over 150 custom designs and hundreds of standard units supporting the aerospace, naval, transportation, military, and communication industries with signal switching applications. Features and Capabilities: The majority of our matrices consists of building blocks: 1U/3U/4U/6U chassis (other sizes are available) LCD/keypad or touch screen local control interface Ethernet/RS-232, GPIB/RS-232, EWEB (web browser), LNET (LXI) or SNMP remote control interfaces. Expandability by cascading specific units using CANbus and with master/slave control capability Dow-Key SCPI commands LabVIEW Graphical User Interface (GUI) Power combiners/dividers for fan-in/fan-out matrices Amplifiers and other passive components may be used on design basis.

ASK FOR OUR FULL MATRIX CATALOG! Engineering Team The best in the RF switch industry, Dow-Key s engineering team is dedicated to support customers all the way from product selection, custom solution design to RF system integration and post production support. Team members who have been with Dow-Key prior to the establishment of this product line are still with Dow-Key and such experience is priceless. It allows us to provide customized solutions built per customer s specs to meet all types of signal switching needs. Backed by decades of industry experience, our highly skilled technical staff is continuously improving the quality and variety of our product offering to meet the needs imposed by the RF industry. Our engineering team continues to be dedicated to work with the customer s specific needs to create the optimum RF switching solution. Quality Assurance Dow-Key Microwave Corporation is a renowned world class manufacturer with an unparalleled reputation for product quality. Our commitment to continuous improvement initiatives within our products and processes, along with the extensive series of internal and external assessments, ensures compliance in accordance with the AS9100 and ISO-9001:2000 standards requirement, which facilitates the registration process and continued certification in order to secure Dow-Key s future as a primary source for advanced RF switching products. Facility Dow-Key s state-of-the-art facility presently consists of a single building totaling 36,000 square feet. To accomplish design, manufacture, and test of Dow-Key products and assemblies, we invest heavily in capital equipment such as vector network analyzers and synthesized sources, phase noise test sets, noise figure measuring equipment, passive inter-modulation (PIM) test setups, thermal vacuum chambers, RF power meter, shock and vibration station for environmental screening. In addition, we house two Class 7 clean rooms to support our high reliability space and military projects. Matrix models and solutions are classified with different types of switch configurations: Switches: The matrix is populated with individual RF switches (DPT, SP6T,, SP12T) and are not combined in any other ways. Blocking: Switches are combined in ways where some RF paths are blocked. Crossbar (non-blocking): Any input can be connected to any output one at a time (1 input to 1 output). Fan-Out (non-blocking): Each input fans out to all outputs such that any input can be connected to one or multiple outputs simultaneously (1 input to many outputs). Fan-In (non-blocking): All inputs are combined (fan-in) into each output, thus allowing one or multiple inputs to be connected to any output simultaneously (many inputs to 1 output).
