some recent work here are a few projects i ve been involved in

downtown redwood city redwood city has put a lot of effort into revitalizing their downtown area (and their image) here is some work i created to help get the word out

You may have noticed there s a lot of new construction going on in downtown Redwood City with new theaters, cafes, museums, and an exciting new nightlife coming very soon. What s going on here? This downtown renaissance is one great example of the new energy you ll find in Redwood City today. And this is just the beginning! This city is about to explode, and there are some very good reasons for this economc and cultural rebirth. A new let s-get-it-done business-friendly attitude. With streamlined permitting processes and flexible zoning. More than 15.5 million square feet of retail and commercial space. At some of the most favorable rates on the Peninsula. The extraordinary high number of venture capital firms, developers and entrepreneurs investing here, fueling this economic boom. Great transportation access, being located midway between San Francisco and San Jose. With the new Caltrain baby-bullet stopping right downtown. CAUTION: SPARKS WILL SOON BE FLYING. It s no wonder Forbes Magazine ranked Redwood City as the fifth best place to get rich in the United States in 2004. As with most hot opportunities, the time to get involved is before the whole world catches on. And with Redwood City, that time is now. Call Susan Moeller, Redwood City s Redevelopment Manager, at 650 780-7290, or visit www.redwoodcitynow.com You ll soon be creating some sparks of your own.

The Intersection of Weiss Bier, Watercolors, & Papaya Salad You're in for some nice surprises when you discover Redwood City s newly revitalized Downtown. Near California and Broadway, for example, you can sip a beer in a German cafe, discover a new artist s work, take in a spa treatment, and explore the many one-of-a-kind shops, outdoor cafes, galleries and fine restaurants. All in one block. Historic Downtown Redwood City is home to over 80 unique stores, restaurants and Theatre Way, featuring 20 movie theatres and nightly live entertainment. All centered around a boulevard of palm trees, fountains and the new Courthouse Square, with free live music, Shakespeare and family events. With so much going on, we suggest taking it in a block at a time. DOWNTOWN AREA Visit www.redwoodcity.org/downtown 2007 Redwood City Redevelopment Agency

The Intersection of Movies, Cream Puffs, & Muddy Waters You're in for some nice surprises when you discover Redwood City s newly revitalized Downtown. Near Broadway and Theatre Way, for example, you can catch a first-run movie, enjoy the newest desert craze, take in a lively blues jam or comedy show, explore a history museum, and enjoy the many outdoor cafes and fine restaurants. EAT YOUR HEART OUT. If you re a developer or investor in the Bay Area, this should really whet your appetite: Redwood City is blossoming into the envy of the Peninsula. The San Francisco Business Times proclaimed that the Best Mixed-Use Project of the year is right here. Our new Downtown has won major awards in urban planning. Forbes Magazine named us the 5th-ranked place to get rich in the U.S. And there s no better indication of a revitalized area than the fact that more and more world-class restaurants are opening up here. Along with theaters, cafes, shopping and an exciting new nightlife. Redwood City s business-friendly attitude is what makes this all possible. With quicker approvals and simplified processes, your projects are up-and-running fast, saving you time and money. All in a city known for great transportation access, warm weather and affordable housing opportunities. Yes, winning awards and acknowlegments are nice, but it takes people like you to make it all happen. Call 650 780-7365 to get a seat at the table. www.redwoodcitynow.com
