FIRST YEAR THE FIRST YEAR HAS THEORETICAL SUBJECTS, SUPERVISED PRACTICE BY SPECIALIZED TEACHERS, SUGGESTED EXERCISES AND FREE EXERCISES. The Degree in Bande à Part is intended for those students seeking a complete and oriented training for a professional job in the film industry and enhance his talent as a filmmaker. For four years you will learn the basics you can apply in shooting practices, exercises and movies. The first course of our Degree in Cinematography is common to all specialties and provides students a first approach to audiovisual creation in the areas of directing, writing, photography, camera, editing, sound, production, shooting organization,... The first year has theoretical subjects, supervised practice by specialized teachers, suggested exercises and free exercises. SECOND YEAR The second course of our Degree in Cinematography keeps emphasizing in all specialties and provides students a broader view on the cinema world and prepares them for professional film shootings. DURING THE SECOND COURSE THE STUDENT WILL BE PREPARED FOR CREATING A PROJECT FROM ITS GENESIS TO THE RELEASE. Increases the theoretical knowleadge of the film language elements, script writing, camera operation, use of lighting equipment, edition programs and sound knowledge, the roles of all members of a film crew and the methodology of the preparation of the shooting and apply them in the shooting exercises on HD and Digital Cinema. MAJORS THIRD YEAR In the third year of the Degree in Cinematography the student decides which specialty wants to study and starts the way to his future career that suits more with his capabilities. We want the student to find his own style and gain self-confidence in the way they work in a professional environment. MAJORS FOURTH YEAR The fourth year of our Degree in Cinematography aims to consolidate the knowledge learned and introduced into the art of direction; cinematography in film and digital cinema; edition, sound and film projects realization. Coordinated and tutorized projects will be held and the students will be follow up while they are drawing on their projects. IN THE FOURTH COURSE, SUPERVISED PROJECTS ARE HELD WITH A DETAILED TUTORING. FACILITIES AND TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT At Bande à Part we have all the necessary facilities to develop educational and film activities. Our spaces are brand new, spacious and comfortable, easily accessible by all means of transport. The school is located in the heart of the Barcelona area of Ensanche. The 850 square metres premises has been entirely refurbished in order to adapt the spaces to the needs of our training cycles. Our school has state-of-the-art technology and brand new equipment which is constantly updated. In this way, the big amount of productions and shootings, with the frequent use of these equipment and materials does not ever affect their number, quality, perfect condition and availability. We have installed new electrical systems, voice and data network, fire safety, and air conditioning. All our facilities are certified and comply with the different regulations. In addition, the school has a cutting-edge optical fibre network and full Wi-Fi coverage.
