Important Notes: Software Update 2013-1 To ensure proper functionality, the most current version of display software, Apex desktop software, or preferred partner desktop software should be used. Please reference software versions at the end of this document. o o o Model Year 2010 or previous planters will need SeedStar 2 software version 10 or higher to be compatible with this software update. Please contact a John Deere Dealer to get the latest version of planter software before updating the display and using a planter. In order to use John Deere Remote Display Access, it is currently required to have GreenStar 3 2630 Display software version 3.13.1320 (Software Update 12-2) or higher and MTG software version 8.1 or higher. For optimal John Deere Machine Sync performance, it s recommended to update all Greenstar Displays to software version 3.16.1174 (Software Update 13-1). StellarSupport posts the latest versions of operator manuals available and includes additional information concerning changes in the new software update. Please see the following site to review and download the latest manual: North America: www.stellarsupport.com/en_us_new/categories/publications/ Other Areas: www.stellarsupport.com and choose your respective country. Find your manual under Technical Publications. It is recommended to back up data prior to updating to Software Update 13-1 to protect the information in the event of an error during the update process for the GreenStar 2 1800 Display and Greenstar 3 2630 Display. Activations are non-transferrable in the event of lost, stolen, or destroyed equipment. It is recommended to insure a display at full value, including activations. This issue was limited to Model Year 2011-2012 DB Planters, configured with 47+ rows controlled in 16 sections, and SeedStar XP monitoring. (All Regions) Receiver: StarFire 3000 Receiver Resolved/Informational Items Improved Roll Angle Accuracy Enhancements have been made to the StarFire 3000 Receiver software to reduce the frequency of guess row inaccuracies. (All Regions) Guidance: AutoTrac, AutoTrac RowSense, itec Pro, John Deere Machine Sync New Features AutoTrac Adaptive Curve Gap Fill Adaptive Curve mode will now connect guidance line segments resulting from briefly disabling documentation recording when Documentation is selected as the source for Adaptive Curve generation. Previously, Adaptive Curve guidance lines could become segmented if the header was raised momentarily in a combine or SPFH. (All Regions) AutoTrac Circle Track Distance to Center A Distance to Center calculation has been added to the GreenStar 3 2630 Display while operating in Circle Track mode. This feature is a real-time calculation of current distance from the center of the pivot, and can be enabled/disabled in General Settings within the Guidance Settings Tab. (All Regions) 3
AutoTrac RowSense Shift Track When utilizing Autotrac RowSense a Center Shift Track button will now be displayed on the GreenStar 3 2630 Display lightbar for Combine Platforms Model Year 2012 and newer.
