INTER HOUSE LITERARY AND CULTURAL COMPETITIONS 2014 CATEGORY 1 - (Std. 1) The preliminary rounds of the Inter House Literary and Cultural events will be conducted, as in the previous years, during the month of June. This circular comes well in advance so that the students may get sufficient time to prepare themselves for the competitions. Category Classes 1. Date of submission of names for the competitions to the class teachers Friday, 6 th June 2014. 2. A student who does not appear for the preliminary rounds will be marked absent and will not be permitted to enter finals. However if a student misses the preliminary or the finals of the competitions on account of an inter school competition which the school has sent him for, he will be permitted to appear for the competitions on a later date specified by the organizers. 3. Preliminaries, if held, will be conducted for the following events. recitation, story telling, action song 4. If the need arises, preliminaries may be conducted in events not mentioned above. This decision lies with the organizers and sufficient time will be provided to the contestants to prepare themselves. 5. A student is permitted to take part in any 3 items from set 1. All items in set 2 are compulsory. 6. It is compulsory that each student participates in at least one item other than the compulsory items. Class teachers will ensure students participation. 7. Students are requested to keep this circular safely for future reference as no other circular with this information will be given to them next year.
