The Foote School Summer 2018 Early & Late Summer Adventures Foote Summer Theater Celebrating its 38th Year!

Foote is a safe, fun place for children during the summer, the staff is fantastic and Dawn Walsh is awesome. Timothy Newton, parent About Dawn Walsh Dawn has been Foote s Summer Program director since 2002. She and her staff emphasize the delight of play combined with community. They offer children an experience that inspires new interests and develops skills, and they help children form wonderful memories in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. In a Foote Summer, children explore and discover, brainstorm and build, produce and perform, and learn and enjoy. About Foote Summer Foote s 17.8-acre campus has 11 classroom buildings, including the state-of-the-art Jonathan Milikowsky Science and Technology Building. The campus includes science labs, a technology lab, an air-conditioned black-box theater with a large backstage prep area, athletic fields, music and art studios, a gymnasium, and a butterfly garden and wooded area for outdoor education. Students from Foote and many area schools participate in Foote Summer. For details about the program, visit www.footeschool.org/summer, or contact Summer Program Director Dawn Walsh at dwalsh@footeschool.org or 203-777-3464. Enroll Today Foote s Summer Program is open to the public. You may register by mail or in person at The Foote School. A copy of the registration form may be downloaded at footeschool.org/summer. We need your signed application/permission form and deposit to hold a place in the program. We do not accept credit cards. Dawn also directs the After School and Vacation programs at Foote, and has taught nursery school for 25 years. She has witnessed the return of many of Foote s summer participants year after year, until they reach an age when they come back as interns and counselors, giving precise definition to the term Foote family.

All activities are planned and carried out by experienced teachers, supported by trained assistants and interns.
