2013-2014 UWO Orchestra Excerpts 1 2013-2014 Orchestra Audition Information and Excerpts Auditions will take place September 4-6, 2013. Sign up for an audition time by visiting N222 in the Arts and Communication building. For more information, contact Dr. Chmura-Moore, conductor of the Symphony Orchestra, at chmuramd@uwosh.edu. Freshmen, transfer students, and others who may be new to the Symphony: Perform a solo or etude of your choosing. At the time of the audition you will also be asked to perform sight-reading. Plan for auditions to span ten minutes. Returning students: Perform a solo or etude of your choosing. Please note that time only allows for a few minutes of this solo to be heard. Also, perform the orchestral excepts found below that are associated with your instrument. In addition, at the time of the audition, you will be asked to perform sight-reading.
