Ho w Do I Se l e c t In s t r u m e n t s in a Kit? Any of the s drum kits can be customized, including instrument tuning, muffling, and cymbal type and size. Choosing your own instruments for a kit is a good place to start. You can select a different instrument for each of the pads within a drum kit. Here s how: Press the KIT button so it s lit. Turn the VALUE dial to select the kit you d like to edit. Press F (INST). Strike the snare pad. Turn the VALUE dial or use the + and - buttons to select the instrument you want the pad to play. Repeat Steps and for any other pads you want to set up. When you re finished, press KIT your new settings are stored automatically. How Do I Select Instruments in a Kit?

Here s how to use them: Press the QUICK REC button the metronome click begins. Turn the VALUE dial to set the desired tempo. When you re ready to record, start playing on the pads along with the metronome s rhythm. Recording starts automatically as soon as you hit one of the pads.
