Milwaukee Ballet has been a proud resident of Walker s Point since 1980, helping create a legacy of creativity in this neighborhood. To celebrate our years here, we commissioned the artists of Walker s Point Creative Collective to create artwork to represent our 2018 19 programming. Ten artists of the Collective painted murals on the walls of businesses throughout Walker s Point, and you see the incredible results throughout this brochure. We celebrate this collaboration, as well as the new friends we made during the process. Itzel Hernandez. So many artists in Milwaukee imbue the city with vibrancy. Milwaukee Ballet and its works have made their mark on this landscape for 49 seasons. Our dancers have been the brushes; the theaters, the canvases. Join us this season as the dancers come alive in blockbuster productions like Dracula and A Midsummer Night s Dream; and be inspired by the five world premieres taking place in winter and spring 2019. Alana Griffith & Janel Meindersee. If you are a returning subscriber, welcome back! If you are seeing us for the very first time, I promise you will be impressed. Michael Pink Artistic Director
