Students then watch the orchestra perform in the evening concert. In this booklet we have indicated the concerts where a event is taking place. These are aimed at all secondary school students, including GCSE and A-Level pupils. Tickets for all events are FREE! Please note that this does not include your ticket for the evening concert, which must be booked separately by calling the venue s box office. Pre-Concert Talks These events are not part of the BSO Secondary Schools programme, but they may be of interest to your students. For more information, please call the box office of the venue. Heroes and Legends Open Rehearsal Students have a behind the scenes opportunity to see the BSO rehearse their Heroes and Legends programme, which includes an immense feast of old and new film and television music. The following information shows when and where Heroes and Legends Open Rehearsal events are being held: Location Venue Dates Duration Tues 7 March 2017 1 hour in the afternoon Thu 9 March 2017 (time tbc) Booking tickets & Heroes and Legends Open Rehearsals are booked online by visiting the following webpage: http://www.bsolive.com/blast-secondary/ This link takes you to the BSO Secondary Schools website, and from there you will need to click on the BOOK NOW button under Main Events on the right-hand side of the page. Once completed, we will send you confirmation and details of your booking. Please note that these events can only go ahead if enough spaces are reserved. Likewise, if there is a high demand for tickets then we will give priority on a first-come-first-served basis.
