In Brahms' Sonata No.1 Feygin demonstrated remarkably saturated sound palette; the pianist answered him exposing her pianistic temperament and a highscale grasp. The Musical Revue, Moscow, Russia While listening to his (Mr. Feygin's) Brahms, I've been moved to the recollection of this Sonata performance by the famous Duo, Jacqueline Du Pré and Daniel Barenboim. Salzburger Nachrichten, Austria
It has been remarkable concert! Before the audience, there has been presented an ideally "formed" Duo, harmonious one, in which everyone have been performing the one's role with the clarity of the undertaken task and with the precision of its execution. Kultura, Russia This concert might be called a true example of genuine chamber performing art of high degree. The most powerful qualities of this Ensemble - in the alliance, agreement between the cellist and the pianist and in their sense of style. Pesti Müsor, Hungary In the Janácek's "Tale", they, subtly and exquisitely, almost at the impressionistic level, were conjuring with the sound - this is where the pianist (Mle Niimi), with all her virtuosity, has been using her pedalling. And, on another hand, they both were underlying the charming Slavic melodiousness of Janácek's music. Le Journal du dimanche, France Feygin's cello sound is noble, without any over-pressure, the music moves with clarity and logic and emotionally at the necessary degree. Ms. Hiroko Niimi is a partner in her equal rights; their mutual understanding of music - stylistic and imaginative - is evident. Pesti Müsor, Hungary
The younger celebrities were stepping on the stage of the Hall....Cellist Dmitry Feigin performed «Chaconne» by Vitali and Chopin's «Introduction and Polonaise-Brillante». All three (performers) are genuine masters, with bright sound of their instruments and great artistic musicality (and, as a matter of fact, they are widely performing abroad). Their rare appearance in the Grand Hall had fully mached the rank of the Hall, where they should appear as regularly, as in the chamber halls of the «Mosconcert» (the leading Moscow and national concert company of Russia). Quiet Stars 70th Anniversary of the «Mosconcert», in the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory Michael Zhirmunsky
