Dmitry Feygin (cello) was born in 1968. He accomplished his studies and his doctorate degrees at the Moscow Conservatory (the class of the professor V. Feygin). He is the laureate of the Dm. Shostakovich Chamber Ensembles International Competition in St. Petersburg in 1991 (III prize and two special prizes) and the International Cello Competition in Japan (1996, II prize). Mr Feygin had performed solo concerts and the concerts in participation with the chamber groups in Italy, France, Hungary, Macedonia, Belgium and Japan. He took his participation in music festivals "Carintian Summer" in Austria, S. Prokofi ev in Mexico and Pablo Casals in Japan. He also, as a soloist, had performed with various symphony orchestras, in the collaboration with such conductors as Ilya Moussin, Julius Carr-Bertoli and Alexander Vedernikov. At the present, Mr Feygin is actively involved in the concert life in Japan, Russia and internationally. He currently engaged, as the professor of cello at the Tokyo Hiroko Niimi (piano) was born in 1963. She accomplished the Tokyo Conservatory, Conservatory, Japan. as well as the Liszt Academy in Budapest (professor Z. Kocis class). She also took an additional training with Ivonne Perebur in Paris and at the Moscow Conservatory under guidance of professor S. Dorensky. She is the award receiver of the "Viotti" International Piano competition in Italy, 1986, as well as the laureate of the D. Shostakovich Chamber Music Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia (1991, III place and two special prizes). Ms Niimi had also performed as a soloist and in the participation with various chamber ensembles in France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, as well as in many cities of Russia and in the Union of Independent States. As a soloist, Ms Niimi had performed with many a symphony orchestras, amongst them - with the Honoured Ensemble of the Russian Republic, the St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, in the Grand Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic of Dm. Shostakovich. Currently, Ms Niimi leads and active concert life in Japan, Russia and in many other countries.

In Brahms' Sonata No.1 Feygin demonstrated remarkably saturated sound palette; the pianist answered him exposing her pianistic temperament and a highscale grasp. The Musical Revue, Moscow, Russia While listening to his (Mr. Feygin's) Brahms, I've been moved to the recollection of this Sonata performance by the famous Duo, Jacqueline Du Pré and Daniel Barenboim. Salzburger Nachrichten, Austria

It has been remarkable concert! Before the audience, there has been presented an ideally "formed" Duo, harmonious one, in which everyone have been performing the one's role with the clarity of the undertaken task and with the precision of its execution. Kultura, Russia This concert might be called a true example of genuine chamber performing art of high degree. The most powerful qualities of this Ensemble - in the alliance, agreement between the cellist and the pianist and in their sense of style. Pesti Müsor, Hungary In the Janácek's "Tale", they, subtly and exquisitely, almost at the impressionistic level, were conjuring with the sound - this is where the pianist (Mle Niimi), with all her virtuosity, has been using her pedalling. And, on another hand, they both were underlying the charming Slavic melodiousness of Janácek's music. Le Journal du dimanche, France Feygin's cello sound is noble, without any over-pressure, the music moves with clarity and logic and emotionally at the necessary degree. Ms. Hiroko Niimi is a partner in her equal rights; their mutual understanding of music - stylistic and imaginative - is evident. Pesti Müsor, Hungary

The younger celebrities were stepping on the stage of the Hall....Cellist Dmitry Feigin performed «Chaconne» by Vitali and Chopin's «Introduction and Polonaise-Brillante». All three (performers) are genuine masters, with bright sound of their instruments and great artistic musicality (and, as a matter of fact, they are widely performing abroad). Their rare appearance in the Grand Hall had fully mached the rank of the Hall, where they should appear as regularly, as in the chamber halls of the «Mosconcert» (the leading Moscow and national concert company of Russia). Quiet Stars 70th Anniversary of the «Mosconcert», in the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory Michael Zhirmunsky
