CONCERTS Villiers Quartet Radcliffe Chamber Music Residency 2015-18 November 2015 saw the launch of the new Radcliffe chamber music residency with the Villiers Quartet presented in association with Music at Oxford. Following a successful couple of concerts in the fabulous Holywell Music Room, the Villiers Quartet are back to Oxford with an evening concert based on composer friendships and a celebration of Sterndale Bennett in his anniversary year. Their lunchtime concert explores contemporary music with a performance of Mozart's Quartet in G Major, K. 387, and its subsequent transformation via the contemporary work Spectral Evidence by Jay Cloidts. The Villiers Quartet will also play music by outstanding American composer Andy Waggoner.
