Motionflow PRO 400 Delivers Smoother, Sharper Images Sony s BRAVIA HX900 series is equipped with Motionflow PRO 400 technology which reduces the degree of retina slip by applying Sony s quadruple frame rate Motionflow PRO technology to insert three frames between sequential frames in the original video. Sony s unique Backlight Blinking algorithm can effectively reduce image lag by improving the liquid crystal response time and cutting the image hold time in half, resulting in clear video image reproduction equivalent to an 8-speed frame rate. It also utilises the synergising effect of Sony s IB Reduction technology to reduce motion blur introduced during filming to reproduce crisper, smoother fast motion in sports and other videos as well as tickers. Intelligent yet Caring Features The BRAVIA LX900 series includes a caring feature Intelligent Presence Sensor with child s face detection. The new Distance Alert feature uses a sensor to ensure a suitable TV-watching distance. If a child moves within one-meter of the TV, the picture is automatically turned off and an alarm sounds to prevent them from getting too close. The TV s viewing-position control will automatically optimize not only the left and right sound balance, but also image visibility according to the viewer s position. This allows viewers to experience superior sound and vivid images no matter where they sit in the room. Keeping the environment in mind, Sony has equipped the BRAVIA LX900 series with energy-saving features such as the Intelligent Presence Sensor and Light Sensor. The Intelligent Presence Sensor switches the TV to Picture Off Mode when it cannot detect faces within a certain range of the TV. This is a great tool, especially for users who leave the room and forget to turn off the TV or for people who doze off mid-show. Also, a Light Sensor automatically adjusts the picture s brightness according to the amount of light available, thereby lowering power consumption when viewing in a dimly lit room. 3
The BRAVIA LX900 series features several Eco Settings including the Energy Saving Switch and Edge-lit LED backlight technology that help reduce power consumption while improving backlight performance compared with conventional CCFL backlight TVs.
